Moscow declares Munich "Ukrainian hinterland"
Ukraine needs drones for its defense. Components also come from abroad. The suppliers are now also in Russia's sights.

The Russian Ministry of Defense has published a list of 21 suppliers to Ukrainian drone production online. Moscow declares their countries as "strategic hinterland of Ukraine" – and thus, albeit unspoken, as legitimate targets for its own military strikes or terrorist attacks by Russia sympathizers. In Germany, addresses in the Munich area and Hanau are on the list.

The Kremlin is obviously annoyed that foreign companies are supporting Ukraine in its defense. Even twelve years after the occupation of the Crimean peninsula and the attack on Donbas, the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine has not achieved its intended success. Although Russia has deployed North Korean forces and used orbital weapons for the first time, Kyiv remains a free city. The human and material losses are high, on all sides.
The list published on Wednesday here names companies from Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Turkey. From Germany, the companies Airlogix and daVinci Avia with addresses in the Munich area, as well as 3W Professional in Hanau, are on the list. 3W has been manufacturing engines for model aircraft for over 40 years.

Airlogix is actually a Ukrainian startup. It is likely referring to a recently founded joint venture with the German company Auterion, which provides software for autonomous drone operation and seeks to learn from the combat experience of its Ukrainian partners. heise online has contacted Airlogix and 3W requesting a statement.
