Starlink is increasing prices. The satellite internet provider is not only adjusting the monthly tariffs for private households but also for the travel package. In February, Starlink introduced three tariff levels in Germany, which were previously only available in Anglo-Saxon countries. Now, a few months later, they are all becoming five to six euros pricier.
From 35 Euros
Until now, the cheapest Starlink tariff, “Private Household 100 Mbit/s” cost 29 euros per month. It enables download speeds of up to 100 Mbit/s and upload speeds of 15 to 35 Mbit/s. For 49 euros, the company offered the “Private Household 200 Mbit/s” variant and the “Max” tariff for 69 euros per month. According to Starlink, customers receive “maximum available speeds and highest network priority for private households” – in numbers: 20 to 40 Mbit/s for upload and 400 Mbit/s for download.

For a few days now, instead of the previously charged monthly fees, 35 euros are charged for the smallest, 55 euros for the 200 Mbit/s, and 75 euros for the Max tariff. As before, Starlink states that unlimited data can be downloaded with the three tariff models. Teltarif was the first to report this. In the help center, Starlink also points to a Lite tariff model, which is now the 100 Mbit/s tariff.

Travel tariffs from 45 euros
Starlink has also increased the travel tariffs for internet on the go, for example for use in a motorhome, to the same extent: For the small package with a data volume of 100 GByte, 45 Euros are now charged instead of the previous 40 Euros, while the “Unlimited” package with unlimited volume costs 95 Euros per month instead of 89 euros.
Depending on the tariff, various Starlink router models are included free of charge: for the smallest, there is a Mini Router with Wi-Fi 6; for the medium and Max tariffs, there is the Starlink Router 3 with Wi-Fi 6; the most expensive tariff also includes a “Mini Mesh Kit.” For the travel tariffs, customers can choose between a Mini and a Standard Kit, which cost just under 200 and 350 euros, respectively.
