MSI stellt 12-Zoll-Subnotebook vor
Zwei Notebooks mit sparsamem CULV-Prozessor von Intel hat MSI bereits im Programm, nun haben die Taiwaner mit dem 600 Euro teuren Wind U200 ihr kleinstes und gĂĽnstigstes CULV-Modell vorgestellt.
MSI hat auf der IFA ein Subnotebook mit Intels CULV-Prozessor vorgestellt. Das Wind U200 ist mit seinem 12-Zoll-Display das kleinste CULV-Modell von MSI und kommt in zwei Konfigurationen auf den deutschen Markt: Die Einsteigervariante ist ab sofort lieferbar, kostet 600 Euro und wird von dem 1,3 GHz schnellen Einkernprozessor SU2700 angetrieben; das bislang nur angekĂĽndigte Topmodell mit integriertem UMTS und SU3500 (1,4 GHz, ein Kern) soll 700 Euro kosten.
Abgesehen von Prozessor und Mobilfunkmodul ist die Ausstattung identisch: Das Display spiegelt und zeigt 1366 Ă— 768 Pixel. Der Arbeitsspeicher misst 4Â GByte, die Festplatte 320 GByte, ein optisches Laufwerk fehlt. Das WLAN-Modul funkt nach Draft N, Bluetooth ist ebenfalls an Bord. Monitore und Fernseher lassen sich per VGA und HDMI anschlieĂźen. Mit dem mitgelieferten Sechs-Zellen-Akku wiegt es 1,4 Kilogramm und soll laut MSI bis zu sechs Stunden laufen. Als Betriebssystem dient Vista, ein Gutschein fĂĽr Windows 7 liegt bei.

MSI Wind U200
Das Wind U200 ist nach dem 13-Zöller X340 und dem 15-Zöller X600 das dritte CULV-Notebook von MSI. Ein mit 1,4 Kilogramm Gewicht und 11,6-Zoll-Display ähnlich leichtes und kleines CULV-Subnotebook hat Acer mit dem Aspire Timeline 1810T im Programm. (cwo)
