Zoom protects applications on Linux, macOS and Windows from potential attacks
Important security updates have been released for Zoom Workplace and Rooms Client, among others.

Attackers can attack Zoom Workplace Desktop App, Workplace VDI Client, Rooms Client, Rooms Controller, Meeting SDK on Android, Linux, iOS, macOS and Windows. Secured versions are available for download.

Among other things, a vulnerability (CVE-2024-39825"high") allows attackers to gain higher user rights. DoS attacks (e.g. CVE-2024-42436"medium") are also possible.
