Deutsche Telekom is giving customers on the MagentaMobil Young tariffs more data volume. The monthly volume will double in three tariffs: MagentaMobil S Young will offer 40 GB of data volume, MagentaMobil M Young 80 GB and the largest tariff, MagentaMobil L Young, 160 GB.

MagentaMobil Young can be subscribed to by young adults under the age of 28. You can get even more data volume if you add a streaming option to your plan or bring an existing subscription from participating streaming partners. Deutsche Telekom will then add another 50 percent more data volume to the overall package. The partners currently include Apple TV+, Disney+, Netflix, Paramount+ and Spotify.

The new tariffs will apply to both new and existing customers from October 1. New customers will also get the MagentaMobil Young tariffs at a slightly lower price: the basic monthly price will be reduced for all tariffs in the first year: MagentaMobil S Young costs 20 euros in the first twelve months, MagentaMobil M Young 30 euros and MagentaMobil L Young 40 euros. From the 13th month, the monthly basic fee increases by 10 euros in each case. The tariffs have a minimum term of 24 months.

Deutsche Telekom only revised the tariff structure of the general MagentaMobil tariffs in July. Telekom doubled the data volume included in its existing MagentaMobil tariffs:

  • MagentaMobil S offers 20 GBytes instead of 10 GBytes for 40 euros a month.
  • MagentaMobil M offers 40 GB instead of 20 GB for 50 euros per month.
  • MagentaMobil L offers 80 GByte instead of 40 GByte for 60 euros per month.

There is also a new entry-level tariff called MagentaMobil Basic, which includes 5 GB of data including 5G and free calls to all German networks for 25 euros per month.
