"Apple Launch": What could and could not come on Wednesday
Apple's presentations have been out of line lately: no keynotes, but announcements are still made in advance. These products could be released on Wednesday.

Tim Cook's X posting last Thursday was short and to the point: “Get ready to meet the newest member of the family,” wrote the Apple boss, adding only – with the date (Wednesday, February 19), the hashtag #AppleLaunch and the emoji specially purchased from X for this hashtag. Below this was an image with a shimmering metallic Apple logo in a circle, a six-second animation. Since then, the Apple rumor mill has been buzzing with speculation about what might appear tomorrow. Cook's every word is being weighed in the balance.
The new family member – in the singular?
First of all, the nature of the announcement shows Apple's new style of shorter, more concise presentations: Instead of inviting the press to a video demonstration, as has been the case with regular keynotes the last few years, there is a brief reference to X, followed by the actual product launch a few days later. This was already the case with the Mac mini M4 (and the MacBook Pro M4 and the iMac M4) in October, when it was an entire “Mac Week” (consisting of three days). This time, according to Cook, it is about a single date, which has also been formulated in the singular: “The newest member of the family” writes the Apple CEO.

The first product that comes to mind is, of course, the iPhone SE 4, which has been the subject of speculation for months. The rumor mill is certain that it will come with redesigned hardware with Apple Intelligence and the look of the iPhone 14. If it has a reasonable price, the model, which some also refer to as the “iPhone 16E”, could sell better than all its predecessors. However, it would be a shame if this were to be the only presentation, as other areas are also waiting for innovations: the Mac and the iPad.
Hardware and software on the way
For example, the iPad is waiting for a new entry-level model (11) and a new iPad Air (with M3 or M4, 11 and 13 inches). The MacBook Air with 13 and 15 inches is also still stuck with the M3, but could do with an M4. Finally, there are accessory products such as a new iPad Air keyboard or new AirTags that Apple could show – Some people already recognize the latter from Cook's Apple logo animation with its circle.
The announcement of IOS 18.4 with a better Siri is also to be expected, should this not be postponed. There are also rumors about Apple Intelligence for the Vision Pro, which currently lacks the AI system – as well as hopes for new distribution channels with lower prices. We will know more tomorrow, Wednesday – It is not yet known when the presentation will take place, but it could conceivably be early afternoon.
