The iPad manufacturer's stylus looks white and neutral. A US custom specialist is now coloring the Apple Pencil in seven colors.
Colored Apple Pencil: Expensive, but special.

The US company ColorWare is known for its customization of Apple products. The company recently turned the Mac mini M4 into a retro Macintosh. Now the custom design company is also taking care of Apple accessories: after AirPods of various designs, it is now the turn of Apple Pencils. However, the fun doesn't come cheap: you have to pay 215 US dollars per item (plus shipping).
Apple supplies the hardware, ColorWare the colors
The Pencil Pro, which usually costs 150 euros, becomes the Crayon Pro. It is offered in a total of seven colors that make it look like a colored pencil: black (tip only), mint, pink, purple, red, white, and yellow. The Pencil Pro itself is supplied by Apple and works as usual. However, the matte coating takes it out of the regular Apple warranty, which ColorWare takes care of. The hardware is compatible with iPad Pro M4, iPad Air M2 and M3 and the iPad Mini A17 Pro. “Please do not sharpen”, warns ColorWare.

Two even more amusing variants are the Number 2 Pencil Pro and the Number 2 Pencil. Both are designed like conventional pencils, with yellow coloring, matching tip and “eraser”. The Number 2 Pencil Pro corresponds to the Apple Pencil Pro, the Number 2 Pencil to the Apple Pencil 2, which is compatible with iPad Pro (generation 3 to 6 of the 12.9-inch model, generation 1 to 4 of the iPad Pro 11-inch), iPad Air 4 and 5 and iPad Mini 6.
Heavy postage surcharge to Germany
ColorWare emphasizes that the colors are only produced for a short time. A multiple coating process including primer and plastic coating is used. The manufacturer offers a twelve-month guarantee. Unfortunately, delivery to Germany is not cheap: in addition to the 215 dollars, there is a whopping 45.29 dollars for postage, plus import sales tax if applicable.
The colored pens and pencils will be shipped for the first time in just under two weeks. If the regular white Apple Pencil is too boring for you, you can go for it. However, it would be nice if ColorWare could finally find a German distributor who would ensure that you don't have to pay such high postage costs.
