Nvidia GeForce Now coming to visionOS
With an update, the service with over 2000 titles can now also be used on the Apple face computer. It does not require its own app.

Gaming on the Vision Pro is getting easier: AI and graphics card specialist Nvidia now allows its cloud gaming service GeForce Now to be used on the Apple headset. Following an announcement earlier this month, the service can now be used officially. More than 2000 titles are said to be available, which can be used with up to 4K resolution at 60 fps. No app is required, instead Nvidia uses the Safari browser in visionOS. It makes sense to update to the recently released new version 2.3 of the operating system beforehand.
Service currently "sold out"
To be able to use GeForce Now on the Vision Pro, you first need a subscription to the service. However, this is currently officially "sold out" for new users, apparently because Nvidia first needs to expand capacity. If you already have a subscription to the service, you can also use it with the Vision Pro. The last prices from November were 11 or 22 euros per month, depending on the range of functions and session duration.
You then need a fast Internet provider with low latency (maximum 80 ms, preferably 40 ms) to an Nvidia data center, plus a network test in the Geforce Now app for mobile devices. You then call up the website of the service in the headset in Safari. Depending on the Wi-Fi speed (and internet connection), HD, FHD, QHD and even 4K are then possible. As mentioned, the refresh rate reaches up to 60 fps.
Gamepad is necessary
The game is not played using hand gestures, but with a suitable gamepad via Bluetooth. The Sony DualShock 4 and the Xbox One and Xbox Series controllers from Microsoft are currently supported. If a keyboard or mouse is connected, it can only be used to navigate the web app interface. Otherwise, hand gestures are used – including login. The physical controller is then used for gaming.
An overview of the games that GeForce Now currently has on offer can be viewed here. The total playing time was recently limited to 100 hours per month for new customers and will apply to all users from 2026 – with a few exceptions. 100 titles are normally included as part of the free subscription, but this is unfortunately, as mentioned, "sold out" for new customers.
