Belkin: 150-watt power supply with integrated USB-C dock
A power supply unit with plenty of power plus various connections: Belkin's new GaN dock is portable and particularly suitable for the MacBook Air.

The Foxconn subsidiary Belkin, which often works closely with Apple, has a new type of docking station on offer: it combines an integrated GaN power supply with a power output of 150 watts and eleven different connections. The solution is ideal for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, for example, but also works with Windows computers.
Power supply directly in the dock
The practical thing about the USB-C 11-in-1 Pro GaN docking station is the fact that, unlike conventional docks with a decent wattage, it does not require an additional power supply. Belkin packs all the elements into one housing and the power is supplied via a Euro plug cable. 150 watts should be enough to supply a MacBook Pro M4 in the Pro and Max versions with 16 inches, whereby a maximum of 96 watts can be output to the computer via power delivery – so you don't get the full charging speed. In turn, 50 watts are available for peripherals.

Apple itself includes a 140-watt power adapter with the 16-inch MacBook Pro, which costs 119 euros individually from the manufacturer. Belkin, on the other hand, would like to charge 199.99 euros for its dock. For this, you get a whole range of ports that you might need, although Thunderbolt support is unfortunately missing.
Three screens only under Windows
The supplied ports are two USB-C with 5 and 10 Gbit/s (20 and 7.5 watts), one USB-A with 10 Gbit/s (7.5 watts), a 3.5 mm jack connection for audio input and output plus SD card and MicroSD card (3.0). There is also the aforementioned USB-C PD with 96 watts, two HDMI 2.0 sockets (4K at 60 hertz) and a DisplayPort connection via USB-C (8K at 30 hertz, 4K at 120 hertz with 10 Gbit/s and 15 watts).
Finally, Belkin also supplies Gigabit Ethernet. The dock only supports three screens under Windows, but this is not the fault of Belkin, but of Apple. Details on the various control options are listed in the technical documentation. The Belkin dock is already being delivered. Belkin does not provide information on the weight, the dimensions are 9.1 x 5.4 x 13.2 cm. A USB-C to USB-C cable is included.
