Asus NUC 15 Performance: Compact workstation with mobile GeForce RTX 5070
The NUC 15 Performance uses powerful HX processors from Intel. Also on board: Nvidia's GeForce RTX 5060 or RTX 5070.
Asus uses two large Vapour-Chamber coolers in the NUC 15 Performance to dissipate the waste heat from the processor and GPU.

Asus presented the NUC 15 Performance workstation computer at the Taiwanese IT trade fair Computex. However, it does not come in the classic NUC format of mini PCs, but is significantly larger with a volume of three liters. The Arrow Lake processors Core Ultra 7 255HX (8 performance & 12 efficiency cores) and Core Ultra 9 275HX (8P & 16E cores) as well as the GeForce RTX 5060 or 5070 mobile GPUs are soldered inside. The HX versions are derived from Arrow Lake-S for desktop PCs and are Intel's fastest mobile processors.
With up to 64 GB of RAM, the NUC 15 Performance is aimed at business and creative users who use AI software, among other things, according to Asus. It is closely related to the Asus ROG NUC 15 (starting from 2834 €) for gamers, in which an even more powerful GeForce RTX 5080 (mobile version) is installed.

Five displays in parallel
The compact workstation controls up to five 4K displays simultaneously via Thunderbolt 4, two HDMI and two DisplayPort connections. Other features include 2.5 Gbit/s Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 with the Intel BE200 adapter and Bluetooth 5.2. According to Asus, the system weighs 3.12 kilograms.
The computer is also available as a barebone, in which users have to install their own RAM bars and data carriers. The NUC 15 Performance can be equipped with two M.2 SSDs (1 Ă— PCIe 5.0 x4, 1 Ă— PCIe 4.0 x4) and two SODIMMs or CSODIMMs without tools. The latter memory modules have an additional amplifier chip for the clock signal from the processor and operate at DDR5-6400 speed.
