After "Silo" and soon "Neuromancer", "Pluribus" is coming soon. Vince Gilligan's thriller series is about nothing less than the future of the planet.

Apple is continuing its efforts to establish Apple TV+ as a premium streaming service. The company has now succeeded in signing up the well-known series creator, Vince Gilligan. With “Pluribus,” he will soon be placing a thriller science fiction series on the service, having worked for traditional TV channels for many years. Apple has now placed a first teaser of the new show on YouTube, but in typical – Gilligan fashion, it leaves more questions than it answers.
“The Lone Gunmen,” “Breaking Bad,” “Better Call Saul”
The series creator is known for high-quality television. After stints as the author of “The X-Files” (and creator of “The Lone Gunmen”), he made his big breakthrough with the drug series “Breaking Bad” from 2008 to 2013. This was followed by the spin-off “Better Call Saul,” which ran until 2022. In “Pluribus,” he will now play all the important roles again: series creator, director, writer, and executive producer.
Apple writes about “Pluribus” (comes from the US motto “E pluribus unum” – “Out of many, one”) that the series is about the “most miserable person on earth” who has to “save the world from its misfortune”. Rhea Seehorn, who made a name for herself in “Better Call Saul,” will play the lead role. Apple plans to produce a total of nine episodes, which will run on a weekly basis from November 7, starting with a double episode. According to the iPhone company, it has already commissioned a second season from Gilligan.

New episodes week by week as usual
The teaser shows a prison guard – but not Seehorn – licking a donut. A real trailer can be expected in a few weeks. In addition to Seehorn, Samba Schute, Carlos-Manuel Vesga and Karolina Wydra are also set to appear in “Pluribus”. The last episode of the first season of the new series will be broadcast on December 26.
New episodes will be released on Fridays. In contrast to other streaming services, Apple's TV+ is based more on television in terms of the availability rhythm – instead of “binge-watching” with all episodes at once, you always have to be patient until the next episodes appear. Apple TV+ is available for 9.99 euros per month. The service mainly contains original content from Apple and its production partners, sometimes for a limited period of time, but also repertoire material.
