Adobe Acrobat Studio analyzes and edits PDF documents

Adobe has announced Acrobat Studio as the new home for PDF tasks. The home page shows simple tasks for creating and editing PDF documents with classic tools, but also focuses on Adobe's AI assistants, which are designed to simplify complex tasks using natural language dialogs.
For some time now, the assistant has been suggesting summarizing the content after opening a document. In the future, AI agents will help to understand long documents. According to the manufacturer, it has focused primarily on contracts.
"PDF Spaces" AI environment
In the "PDF Spaces" workspace, Adobe AI will analyze documents to extract key messages and develop recommendations. The platform can process up to 100 documents in different formats such as PDF, DOCX or PPTX.
Users assign it predefined roles: screenshots of the English-language versions show "Analyst", "Entertainer" and "Instructor". The Analyst provides support in analyzing data, the Instructor helps to present complex topics in an understandable way and the Entertainer adds creative elements such as word games. However, you can also define your own roles to suit the specific company and department in which Acrobat Studio is used.
The roles are designed to simplify the creation of summaries, the organization of content or the provision of instructions. Your PDF Space can be shared with colleagues, customers or teams to interact online.

Integration with Adobe Express
Adobe is integrating Acrobat Studio into Adobe Express, an online tool that allows casual designers to create social media posts using easy-to-use tools, templates and artificial intelligence. Users will be able to gain insights from infographics, presentations or social media posts via Acrobat Studio in a familiar environment. Reports from PDF Spaces can be prepared as visually appealing graphics in Adobe Express.

Data protection and security
Adobe says it has secured Acrobat Studio with encryption and a protected sandbox environment, but did not provide any further information on data protection and security.
The manufacturer emphasizes that the platform only analyzes documents that users actively upload and that all AI-generated insights are provided with source information. This is intended to ensure transparency and strengthen users' trust in the AI.
Prices and availability
According to the manufacturer, Adobe Acrobat Studio is available immediately. Adobe quotes a price of 24.99 US dollars per month for individuals and 29.99 US dollars per month and user for teams. This is roughly equivalent to the annual subscription with monthly billing for Acrobat Pro at 23.79 euros per month.
