FCC leak: US communications regulator reveals three yet unknown Apple devices
New Vision Pro, MacBook Pro M5 and iPad Pro M5 on the way: at least that's what the US communications regulator now has in its database.

The US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has revealed at least three new Apple product categories, although there are actually ways to prevent secret products from appearing in the public database. These are a new MacBook Pro machine, two different types of iPad Pro devices, each in two sub-variants, and a first successor to the Apple Vision Pro headset.
Product numbers leaked
The documents available to Macrumors, which have since been removed, do not contain any product names. However, it can be deduced from images and other descriptions which devices are involved. A3434 is therefore probably a new MacBook Pro with an M5 chip. This was actually expected to be released next spring. It is interesting to note, however, that several MacBook Pro models are normally submitted to the FCC at the same time, but in this case it is only one. Apple is allegedly planning a new low-cost MacBook, but the details do not seem to match.

Four iPad model numbers have been leaked. A3357 and A3360 are probably 11- and 13-inch WLAN versions of a new iPad Pro M5. They are expected to be released this autumn. The model numbers A3358 and A3359 in turn stand for an 11-inch iPad Pro M5 equipped with 5G mobile communications, A3361 and A3362 for its 13-inch variant. In terms of hardware specs, the database entries show that the MacBook Pro has Wi-Fi 7, while this information is missing for iPads.
Vision Pro 2 also on the way
Apple is also preparing a Vision Pro 2. This is expected to come with a new chip (M4 or M5) and possibly a more comfortable head strap. According to the FCC, the new model bears the number A3416 and is dubbed a “head-mounted device.”
According to Macrumors, where it was possible to view the documents before they were taken down, a graphic included shows a similar look to the current Vision Pro. Apparently, Apple is embarrassingly not planning Wi-Fi 7, but only Wi-Fi 6. The first Vision Pro was already comparatively poorly equipped, with the M2 chip, although the M3 was already on the market—despite the high price of at least 4000 Euro.
