Report: New Apple products such as iPads as early as this week
Apple is apparently not planning an October keynote, but a gradual release of new hardware. This is reminiscent of last year's "Mac Week".

Apple may be facing a new “week of products.” According to a report by Bloomberg, the “rest of the autumn pipeline” will be presented in the coming days. A separate keynote event is therefore not expected. Instead, there will be an online presentation. It is conceivable that the company will proceed as it did last year: during Mac Week in October 2024, Apple presented new hardware models each day in the form of short videos lasting 10 to 15 minutes. Back then, Apple introduced the Mac mini M4, MacBook Pro M4, and iMac M4. It could start as early as Tuesday, but possibly not until Wednesday. Monday is a public holiday in the USA with Columbus Day.
What hardware could be coming
According to Bloomberg, at least three new products are planned. These could be the new iPad Pro M5, parts of which have already been leaked, a MacBook Pro M5 (excluding the Max and Pro models, which are expected in spring), and a Vision Pro 2. Smaller updates are also on the cards: a new Apple TV 4K with a faster chip and possibly an integrated camera for the first time, as well as second-generation AirTags. New HomePods and HomePods in the mini version are also considered possible, but there have been fewer rumors about these recently, as well as a long-awaited “Home Hub.”

Also in the pipeline are new entry-level iPads and a new iPad Air (two variants), as well as new monitors and a MacBook Air M5. However, nothing has been heard for a long time about the iMac M5 and Mac mini M5. It is conceivable that all these devices will not appear until March. The rumor mill has also been silent on an entry-level MacBook with 12 or 13 inches for some time, as well as on a Mac Pro M5. If Apple acts as it did at last year's “Mac Week,” it will focus on specific products. It is conceivable that small-scale announcements will be made in parallel via press release.
Hints from the FCC
The US communications authority FCC had previously leaked some new devices, including a new Vision Pro, a MacBook Pro M5 (probably 14 inches), and an iPad Pro M5. In Russia, an unboxing video of the iPad Pro M5 had also surfaced, including Geekbench benchmarks. Meanwhile, the website of the US mobile phone provider AT&T has also been harboring hints of a new iPad.
In addition to the short videos, Apple is also likely to be preparing a press event following (or on the last day of) the launch, as it did last year. The company said goodbye to live keynotes during the coronavirus pandemic and has only been running videos since then, even when journalists are on site in Cupertino. At last year's “Mac Week,” there were initially only videos.
