After Jeff Williams' Departure: Apple Reorganizes Management
According to a report, there are changes in Apple's services division. Fitness and health will be located in a new area.

The retirement of long-time Chief Operating Officer (COO) Jeff Williams is leading to further changes in Apple's executive suite. According to a US media report, his responsibilities, which he held in addition to his role as the company's chief operating officer, will be distributed among various individuals.
Cook "Chief Designer", Federighi and Ternus Gain More Power
It is already known that Apple CEO Tim Cook, whose right-hand man Williams was, will become the ultimate authority for the Apple design team for both software and hardware. Williams previously held this position. Two other additional responsibilities of the ex-COO, who will leave the company by the end of the year, will go to other individuals: his responsibility for Apple Watch operating systems, Apple Watch hardware, as well as health and fitness.
watchOS will be managed by software chief Craig Federighi in the future, who has already taken Siri and the Vision Pro operating system visionOS under his wing – after various issues. Apple Watch hardware will come under hardware boss John Ternus, who is considered a potential successor to Cook. Although Ternus already had significant control here, new models were always approved by Williams.

Health and Fitness
The responsibilities in the areas of Apple Health and Fitness+ (including the fitness features of the Apple Watch) will go to services chief Eddy Cue. However, there are reorganizations in the reporting structure here. For example, the previous head of Apple Health, Sumbul Desai, will not only control the health area as before. The recently controversial Fitness+ chief Jay Blahnik will now report to Desai, who in turn has Cue as her direct boss. Previously, Blahnik reported directly to Williams.
This means Cue will take on even more responsibilities. For years, he has been responsible for iCloud, audio and video services, Apple Maps, and various other digital offerings that are constantly growing and bringing in fat margins. Williams will be succeeded by Sabih Khan, who formerly worked under him. The position is of great importance, as the COO ensures that Apple's complex supply and manufacturing chain runs like clockwork. Given the many millions of products the company has manufactured, this task alone is enormous.
