Black Friday: Discounts for macOS Users
This year's pre-Christmas shopping day also features various Mac software titles available for less. An overview.

The shopping holiday Black Friday, which an increasing number of countries have adopted from the USA, actually falls on November 28th this year. Nevertheless, many manufacturers and retailers have already started reducing prices. This also includes products from the Mac software sector. We have found some interesting titles that we want to list in this report. As usual, you should first check whether the deal is still actually available.
PDFs, Writing, Virtualization
Anyone who works a lot with PDFs needs more than just Apple's Preview. A possible alternative is PDF Reader Pro, which is being sold at a reduced price until December 2nd. The lifetime version costs 25 percent less (75 US dollars), and the subscription costs 30 percent less (55.99 dollars per year, but it will then renew at the normal price). The Austrian macOS tool provider has reduced its three most important programs, Typinator, PopChar, and KeyCue this year. With the code "BLACK", you get a 33 percent discount.

The RAW image editing software DXO PhotoLab 9 is available as a new license for Black Friday for 200 instead of 240 euros. The virtualization solution Parallels Desktop offers 50 percent discount, so the useful Pro version now costs 60 instead of 120 euros per year. Microspot has selectively reduced its programs, including MacDraft, by 40 percent. Products from the Ukrainian software provider Softerino are reduced by a whole 97 percent in the Black Friday deal; however, it should be noted that this is a subscription that will become more expensive later.
HyperWhisper, Xojo, other Apps
Another app deal is the speech-to-text solution HyperWhisper, here 19 instead of 39 dollars are due. It also works offline. Code: BLACKFRIDAY2025. Developers who want to try the development environment Try Xojo will receive a 20 percent discount on November 20th. It starts at 399 dollars for the desktop version.
If you are interested in other macOS programs, it is worth visiting the respective websites of the providers, even for smaller programs. Many have launched Black Friday deals, but some of them have not started yet, only on the actual date. There are also partial discounts in the App Store.
