The smart handbag "Infinity" by French entrepreneur Richard Peuty displays a different design depending on personal taste. And because the external appearance of the handbag can be adapted to outfits and styles, it is intended to be used more frequently than less flexible accessories, according to the manufacturer's hope.
A color OLED display is integrated into the front of the bag, sitting under a thin layer of leather. The manufacturer does not provide exact specifications, but comparable flexible OLEDs have a resolution of 2880 Ă— 1440 or 1920 Ă— 1440 pixels. According to the manufacturer, the display serves as an interchangeable display surface for patterns, graphics, or artworks and remains easily readable even in daylight.
Louis Vuitton showed a similar prototype in 2020. In contrast, Peuty's Infinity bag is intended to actually go on sale.

Customizable via app
Content to be displayed on the handbag's screen can be selected via a smartphone app for iOS and Android – also named "Infinity". It is transferred to the bag via Bluetooth. Users can upload their own motifs in PNG or JPG format or access curated design collections from artists. According to Peuty, the display can be changed in just a few seconds.
The electronics integrated into the bag are designed for low weight and can be charged wirelessly. According to the manufacturer, the battery is expected to last for several days. The usage time depends, among other things, on the number of motif changes. Peuty provides firmware updates via the app.
Handmade and chic leather
For the bag, Peuty uses full-grain leather from French and European tanneries. The handbags are manufactured in France and take approximately 15 to 20 weeks to produce after ordering. The series is limited to 100 numbered pieces.
The handbags can be ordered via the Kickstarter platform. The campaign launches as part of CES on January 6, 2026.
