Adobe has added new AI tools to its PDF software Acrobat under the name Acrobat Studio. They are part of a paid subscription and are initially only available with an English interface. Support for other languages is planned. According to the manufacturer, the AI functions run within the existing security and data protection mechanisms of the Document Cloud. Adobe offers Acrobat Studio starting at around 25 US dollars per month for individual users.
From PDF Document to Presentation
One of the new tools generates a presentation from the content of a document. The software analyzes the structure of the document, recognizes headings, paragraphs, lists, and tables, and creates an outline from them. Based on this, Acrobat generates slide content and organizes it thematically.
For layout and revision, Acrobat integrates Adobe Express's design tools. Templates can be selected and customized, and text and media can be changed or added. The tools are integrated into the Acrobat interface, and presentations can be edited collaboratively and adapted to company specifications.

Edit PDF documents via Text Input
PDF documents can be edited using natural language text inputs via an AI chatbot. Users will be able to search and replace content, remove text or images, adjust pages, or manage comments in this way in the future. Electronic signatures and passwords can also be added.
The AI accesses the complete document content, including metadata, form fields, and comments. It translates text inputs into concrete editing steps and suggests actions that must be confirmed before execution. A help window explains the individual steps in the work context.

Documents as Audio Summaries
Another innovation converts extensive texts into audio summaries in the form of a kind of podcast. The tool breaks down documents into thematic sections, condenses the content, and generates spoken summaries. Acrobat can play back the audio output itself. It is intended for use, for example, when preparing for meetings or for learning on the go.
Adobe does not provide details on the language models used or on settings for tone and length of the audio, but announces customization options.

Collaboration in “PDF Spaces”
With so-called “PDF Spaces,” Adobe is introducing collaborative workspaces. They serve as project-specific containers for files, references, and annotations. Teams can collect materials there, leave comments, and bundle feedback.
Acrobat synchronizes changes for all participants. Access rights can be granted for defined roles, such as reading, commenting, or editing.
