Notebook sleeve with MagSafe charging by Razer
The new Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 is also available for an extra charge with a special feature for iPhone and AirPods users – and not just for them.

Although Razer manufactures its PC notebooks, the gaming specialist also offers various accessories for Apple users. Now brand new: a 16-inch notebook sleeve that contains two MagSafe-compatible charging surfaces in the flap. They are specifically intended for iPhones and AirPods but also work with all other Qi-compatible devices with wireless power supply.
Up to MacBook Pro 16 inches
The product is simply called Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 and is made of robust plastic. It fits all notebooks up to 16 inches and - with a little room - smaller ones, including the MacBook Pro 16. It uses a polyester fabric with a padded microfiber interior and reinforced edges. There are two variants: one without a charging function and one with. Visually, the sleeves differ only in the flap, which is slightly thicker in the charging version.

Without the charging sleeve, you pay 89.99 Euros, with the charging sleeve 139.99 Euros, which is 50 Euros more. Using the notebook is intended to take place on the sleeve itself after removal. The flap on the right remains open. Without the charging function, it serves as a simple storage surface. The Razer Laptop Sleeve 16 with charging function comes with a USB-C port. This can then be connected to the notebook via cable, which provides the power supply for the devices - or with its own power adapter.
The sleeve is not exactly light
The USB-C port requires 30 watts for full performance. Two devices can be charged simultaneously, and a short USB-C cable is included. The maximum charging speed is 15 watts. The sleeve is not exactly light: the variant with the charging pad weighs 410 grams without the notebook - 60 grams more than the non-electrified variant.
Razer offers the Laptop Sleeve 16 in only one color: black with Razer's typical green accents. The sleeve does not have handles; for transport over longer distances, another bag or backpack is required. Delivery of the less interesting variant without the charging pad starts immediately, while the variant with wireless charging will be shipped from March 6th. Razer recently introduced a new high-end keyboard that is also suitable for Mac use.
