With a newly designed hinge for the foldable smartphone Find N6, Oppo has achieved what all foldable manufacturers strive for: a folding display without a visible or palpable crease. Visually, the crease can still be guessed at with some content and backgrounds, but it is no longer felt.

Only when swiping across the screen with unnaturally firm pressure can the crease still be minimally detected. The manufacturer calls this "Zero-Feel Crease". Compared to other current foldables, the Oppo Find N6 is a step ahead in this regard.

The foldable's display measures 8.12 inches and displays 2248 × 2480 pixels. The pixel density is 412 dpi. The manufacturer promises a maximum brightness of 1800 cd/m² in normal operation, with a peak brightness of 2500 cd/m². The LTPO-OLED offers variable refresh rates between 1 and 120 Hertz. The Oppo Find N6 also supports stylus input; the manufacturer has introduced a stylus along with a suitable case for the back of the foldable.

Even on closer inspection, the crease is barely visible.

The rest of the specifications are also impressive. On the front, the Find N6 features a 6.62-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2626 × 1140 pixels, achieving a pixel density of 431 dpi. Oppo uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, flanked by 12 or 16 GByte RAM – depending on the configuration. 512 GByte of internal storage are available, with variants offering 256 GByte and 1 TByte. A 6000 mAh silicon-carbon battery ensures endurance, with a maximum charging power of 80 watts wired and 50 watts wirelessly.

For the camera, Oppo has once again partnered with Hasselblad, incorporating a 200-megapixel main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 50-megapixel triple telephoto lens. For selfies, two 20-megapixel cameras are available. The Find N6 runs Oppo's Android variant ColorOS version 16.0.4, based on Android 16. All this technology is housed in a closed, nearly 9 mm thin titanium casing, protected according to IP58/59. The Find N6 weighs no more than many high-end smartphones without a folding mechanism.

However, there's a major catch: Oppo currently has no plans to launch the smartphone in Europe. The Find N6 will initially only be available for purchase in Asia. This is not surprising, as Asian markets have so far reacted much more positively to foldables, which still play only a minor role in Germany. Anyone who still wants to buy an Oppo Find N6 will therefore have to go through import dealers. When doing so, one should pay attention to compatibility and choose the international version rather than the Chinese model.
