Beats: Nike variant of Powerbeats Pro 2 – and cases for iPhone 17e
The Apple subsidiary has new peripheral products on the market. There are dedicated cases for iPhone 17e, while an earbud series receives a “Special Edition.”

The headphone, speaker, and accessory manufacturer Beats, which has belonged to Apple for several years, has launched some new products. These include a new version of an already available sports earbud and adaptations of iPhone cases for the recently released entry-level model 17e, for which Apple had added MagSafe, among other things.
Neon and with dots
For the PowerBeats Pro 2, which Apple launched a little over a year ago, there is now a special model in cooperation with sports equipment manufacturer Nike. Apple calls it a “Special Edition” that gets the “Black & Volt” color scheme. This is a combination of black (for the earbuds) and a yellowish neon green (remaining housing). The case of the Powerbeats Pro 2 is black with neon green dots. The Nike logo is printed on one of the earbuds, and the slogan “Just do it” is engraved inside the case.

Currently, the special version is only listed in the USA, but it is expected to be available from March 20th via Apple.com in Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Great Britain, and other countries. The Nike version will also be offered in selected stores in some world regions. The price apparently remains the same – 249.99 US dollars plus sales tax, and in Germany it should be 299.95 euros as usual. The special variant is unlikely to enter regular retail.
Beats Case for the 17e
Beats innovation number two are two new hardshell cases for the newly available iPhone 17e. They come specifically with MagSafe integration, one of the new features in the 17e. There are currently two colors: a shade of blue (“Bedrock Blue”) and a gray-to-pink shade (“Lime Stone”). The other two Beats cases, the more robust “Rugged Case” and the Kickstand Case, are not yet offered for the 17e.
The new case is not yet listed in the German Beats store (or on Apple.com, to which it redirects for cases). The price should be 55 euros. With the Beats cases for the iPhone, Apple has been competing with itself since 2024, as the company continues to sell cases for its smartphones itself.
