Apple has unveiled this year's LGBTQ+ collection. Unfortunately, those hoping for a Solo Loop band will be disappointed.

Each year, Apple celebrates various social movements with matching accessories: In addition to the Black Unity Collection, which is released for Black History Month in the USA, there is also regularly a new Pride collection for the LGBTQ+ community. The offers are limited and only available until the next collection is released or they are sold out. Now, a new Apple Pride Collection is also available for Pride Month. It consists of three parts, only one of which is genuine “hardware.”
Bright Band, Matching Wallpapers
This year, Apple has designed a new Sport Band. It is a so-called Sport Loop made of a synthetic fiber material, which can be freely adjusted thanks to Velcro. Fans of the special edition had, as with the Black Unity Band, which was made available in January, actually hoped for a so-called Solo Loop band, which you just have to slip into. However, this has the disadvantage that you have to determine the correct size beforehand and it can also stretch out over time.

The Pride Edition Sport Band for 2026 has a white base color with colorful rainbow colors reminiscent of the LGBTQ+ flag, which are also quite bright. It is offered in sizes 40, 42, and 46 mm, making it suitable for the Apple Watch Ultra as well. According to Apple, it is made from 80 percent recycled nylon (i.e., 20 percent new material) plus 100 percent recycled polyester and 100 percent recycled elastane. The price is always 49 Euros, regardless of the size purchased. Apple emphasized that it financially supports organizations that advocate for LGBTQ+ communities, but did not specify whether a direct contribution from band sales goes to such groups.
Operating System Updates Are Coming
In addition to the band, there is also free Pride merchandising: With iOS 26.5, iPadOS 26.5, and watchOS 26.5, which are expected in the coming days, Apple will provide matching wallpapers for the band's look, as well as its watch face (“Pride Luminance”) on the Watch, at no cost.
This also has a long tradition. “With the collection, users can customize the watch face with even more color options to create a unique expression of themselves and their communities,” the company writes.
