Adobe tools available in Google Gemini in the future
Through the "Adobe for Creativity Connector", Adobe's AI tools will soon be usable via the Google Gemini AI platform.
Adobe and Google are expanding their collaboration: the “Adobe for Creativity Connector” will allow access to Adobe's AI tools from within Gemini. Both companies announced this at Google I/O. The Photoshop manufacturer had previously released the “Adobe for Creativity Connector” for Claude.
The integration is aimed at creative professionals, marketing teams, and businesses. Users will be able to perform creative tasks directly in Gemini, while Adobe tools handle the editing in the background. This should reduce the need for media professionals to switch between different programs.

Access to Adobe Firefly
The connector accesses Adobe's AI service, Adobe Firefly, from Gemini. The Firefly web app already creates and edits images, videos, and graphics using not only Adobe's own AI models but also external ones. In 2025, Adobe Firefly already received support for Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash image model. This collaboration is now being deepened with the connector.
Adobe Creative Agent
The integration builds on Adobe's previously introduced “Creative Agent.” According to the company, this works in conjunction with the Firefly AI assistant. Users simply describe the desired outcome. The agent then automatically connects the appropriate tools and executes the individual work steps.
Adobe plans to integrate several Creative Cloud applications into the workflows, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Express. Adobe states that more than 60 tools from various Creative Cloud applications will be usable via the Creative Agent in the future.
More Users for Adobe
The cooperation also appears to be about expanding the user base: According to Adobe, in the future, “hundreds of millions” of Gemini users will be able to describe what they want to create.
As an example, the company mentions store owners who formulate a campaign idea in Gemini and automatically have product designs, social media content, various image formats, and video variations created from it.
