AMD has a new top mobile model before the previous ones are even available
The fastest AMD processor for notebooks is now called Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 and has a faster NPU than the 370 model.

AMD has unveiled the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 processor from its Strix Point notebook family without much fanfare. It is the new top mobile model, i.e. a slightly accelerated version of the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370. Both processors use the same silicon chip, but the integrated AI unit (Neural Processing Unit, NPU) of the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375 is slightly faster.
On its product page, AMD states 55 instead of 50 TOPS for AI algorithms, i.e. up to 55 trillion operations per second. This value applies to the INT8 and Block FP16 data formats. The manufacturer probably achieves this value with the help of higher clock frequencies.

All other specifications are identical. The Ryzen AI 9 HX 375X also combines four Zen 5 cores with eight compact Zen 5c cores. The former achieve boost clock frequencies of up to 5.1 GHz. The integrated Radeon GPU 890M uses 1024 shader cores and achieves up to 2.9 GHz.
At best, you will only notice a difference if you use AI tools excessively. And then only if they run locally on the NPU and not on cloud servers. Currently, the advantage is likely to be limited.
The ten-core Ryzen AI 9 365 is positioned below the two HX models. AMD has not yet announced Zen 5 models from the Ryzen 7, 5 and 3 classes.
HP is the first to use the Ryzen AI 9 HX 375
HP already announced the Omnibook Ultra 14 with a 55 TOPS Ryzen for August in mid-July, but did not give a specific processor name at the time. It is likely to be the Ryzen AI 9 375 HX. It is not known whether HP is using the CPU exclusively.
In general, notebooks with the Ryzen AI 300 processor series are still a long time coming. Not a single model is currently available in the price comparison. Things are also looking bleak in the manufacturer stores. Asus' Zenbook S 16 currently has the earliest delivery date – July 28.
