Banned Deepcool coolers available in the USA with poor censorship
Due to business dealings with Russian companies, Deepcool is no longer allowed to sell in the USA. "Shaking Tank" sells the products anyway.
Deepcool's AK620 radiator top model was also temporarily available under the name "Shaking Tank", but has since disappeared. Other coolers are still available.

In mid-June 2024, the Chinese manufacturer Deepcool landed on a US sanctions list, the so-called "Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List" ("SDN List"). The reason for this is business with Russian companies that could be linked to the war of aggression against Ukraine.
It concerns the sale of PC cases, coolers and, in particular, power supply units with a value of more than one million US dollars. At the end of June, Deepcool justified that the sales had taken place before the sanctions against its partners Aktsionernoe Obshchestvo Taskom and OOO Novi AI Ti Proekt came into force. Since mid-September 2023, Deepcool says it has ceased business relations.

Poorly censored availability
An Amazon store called "KuFengKeJi Store" appears to want to profit from the sanctions. Among other things, it sells Deepcool products and uses the original manufacturer images – the company logos are merely censored, rather badly than properly. The product pages run under the name "Shaking Tank". In the case of an RGB controller, an uncensored image with the Deepcool logo can be seen further down on the store page.

The scam was noticed by the X user "GregSalazarYT". Curious: "Shaking Tank" also sells some products from the Taiwanese, non-sanctioned manufacturer Cooler Master: a small CPU cooler and a PCI Express adapter for graphics cards. Also included are RGB fans from Lian Li under the name "TJ". There were already complaints about the "KuFengKeJi Store" a year ago.
After all, the store seems to actually send products that are recognized as imitations of the original items. Curious: "KuFengKeJi Store" also sells original branded goods, sometimes only a few cents more expensive than the variants with alternative names.
The bottom line: interested parties should take a close look at Amazon stores in particular to see which products they are buying. The number of Chinese retailers on the Amazon marketplace is also increasing in Germany.
