Renault Scenic: Electric car costs at least 41,400 euros
The new Scenic will only be offered as an electric car - and will be interesting in terms of price. Among other things, it offers fast AC charging.

The Scenic is transforming from a van to an e-SUV. Renault hopes that this will result in higher registration figures worldwide than before. Financially, the brand is making customers a comparatively interesting offer in a rapidly changing environment.
Renault offers the Scenic in four equipment lines and two drive configurations, although these cannot be freely combined. The provisional range is structured as follows.

This puts Renault in a similar range to the Hyundai Kona, for example, although the base model offers a larger battery. A heat pump, 22 kW AC charger and adaptive cruise control are already standard in the base model. A navigation system only costs 800 euros there, a package with seat heating 500 euros. As a rough guide: the cheapest model with an 87 kWh battery costs only slightly more than a BMW iX1 base model.
Up to 625 km range in the WLTP
All Scenic models have front-wheel drive; there are no plans for all-wheel drive. The smaller powertrain with 125 kW is expected to achieve 430 km in the WLTP. Renault specifies its consumption in the cycle as 16.3 kWh. A maximum of 130 kW of direct current is possible here. At 16.8 kWh, the more powerful drive consumes hardly any more. At 87 kWh, the considerably larger battery should enable a range of 625 km. The maximum charging power is specified as 150 kW. Both models are close to each other in terms of performance. Both are limited to 160 km/h, while the more powerful drive is just 0.7 seconds faster in the standard sprint at 7.9 seconds. This is probably not least due to the fact that it is exactly 105 kg heavier at 1927 kg.
