Apple has expanded its range of games for Apple Arcade this week. In this round, the iPhone company is focusing in particular on retro titles. They will all be available from April 3 and can already be reserved for download.

One of the newcomers is "Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE", the first new Katamari game in a good eight years. It is an Apple Arcade-exclusive title and is intended to implement the famous mechanic of collecting objects by rolling in a graphically attractive way. Manufacturer Bandai Namco had already delivered "Tamagotchi Adventure Kingdom" and "Pac-Man Party Royale" for Apple Arcade.

Taito has also produced a new version of "Space Invaders" called "Space Invaders Infinity Gene Evolve". The arcade classic from 1978 has become a 3D shooter and comes with "Guest Fighters" from "Darius", "Night Striker" or "RayStorm". Atari, on the other hand, delivers a new version of "RollerCoaster Tycoon". The "Classic+" edition is based on the original PC version and comes with three integrated expansion packs.

Other new Apple Arcade titles from the beginning of April are "The Game of Life 2+" from Hasbro, a conversion of the well-known board game, "Sesame Street Mecha Builders+", in which you can learn mechanics with characters from Sesame Street (but unfortunately not build mechas) and the indie title puffies from Lykke Studios.

Content updates for "PGA Tour Pro Golf", "Skate City: New York" and "NBA 2K25 Arcade Edition" are also planned for April. Apple's most recent updates include "Temple Run Legends", "Three Kingdoms Heroes", "Ridiculous Fishing EX" and "Talking Tom Blast Park". Apple Arcade always delivers a good 200 games for Mac, Vision Pro, iPhone, iPad and Apple TV. After a free trial month, you pay a moderate six euros a month for access. There are no in-app purchases or other restrictions. The titles can also be downloaded to the device and played offline. Apple also sells Arcade as part of the family subscription and Apple One.
