Skoda Enyaq RS facelift: visually sharpened, not reinforced
Skoda is now also converting the top model of the Enyaq series to the current look. Technically, the e-SUV remains largely unchanged.

Skoda is busy updating the Enyaq model. Technically, a lot has happened since its launch five years ago – There have been numerous upgrades, especially in the areas of infotainment, charging performance and drive. A visually revised version was presented in the fall of 2024. The top model in the range, the Skoda Enyaq RS, has now also undergone this change.
Extensively equipped
Externally, the upgrades compared to the other Enyaq models are limited. The aprons at the front and rear have a slightly different shape, and there is also a sports suspension with lowering and 21-inch wheels. Skoda offers the RS with both a steep rear end and a flat rear window, which is then marketed as a coupé. The interior features sports seats and a steering wheel with three spokes –, both familiar from the Sportline equipment line. The standard equipment is extensive and includes a navigation system, electrically adjustable seats with massage function and matrix lighting. The manufacturer makes a difference with the optional roof glazing: It can be opened in the SUV, but not in the coupé model.

Unchanged: 250 kW
There are no changes to the drive system. The system output is 250 kW. Skoda promises a standard sprint time of 5.4 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h. As in the Elroq RS, we assume that a number of conditions must be met for the full 250 kW. The charge level of the battery must be more than 88 percent and the temperature of the battery cells must be between 23 and 50 degrees Celsius. The full power can then be called up for 10 seconds. Skoda has not yet commented on whether this also applies to the Enyaq RS.

)Battery with 79 kWh
The battery, which is also used in this form in the VW ID.3 GTX (test) and the ID.7, for example, is somewhat larger than before. The gross energy content is 86 kWh, net it is 79 kWh. The maximum DC charging power is 185 kW, with the usual 11 kW on alternating current. Preconditioning of the battery cells is standard, as is a heat pump for more efficient heating of the interior.
Skoda has not yet commented on the prices for the Enyaq RS. However, a look at the model portfolio provides an indication of the direction it could take. Anyone equipping an Enyaq 85x Sportline with 21-inch rims currently ends up with 57,850 euros in the configurator. The RS is likely to cost upwards of around 61,000 euros. This would make it more expensive, including extensive standard equipment, than a VW ID.4 GTX, which is currently available from €55,555 according to the configurator.
