BMW: Change at the top - CEO Zipse leaves, Nedeljković arrives
In May 2026, there will be a change at the top of BMW: Milan Nedeljković will succeed Oliver Zipse.

BMW is changing its leadership on May 14, 2026. The current CEO, Oliver Zipse, will leave his post after 35 years, as planned. He will be succeeded by Milan Nedeljković. He has been a member of the BMW AG board of management since 2019, responsible for production. The 56-year-old began his career at the company in 1993 as a trainee and has extensive international experience. He has held various management positions, including at the Oxford plant, as plant manager in Leipzig and Munich, and as head of corporate quality. His contract as Chairman of the Board of Management runs until 2031.
