Because of AI: Apple again most valuable company
Apple made gains on the stock market on Tuesday thanks to analyst recommendations. The Group is once again the most valuable company in the world.

After Apple, Nvidia and Microsoft battled it out for months to be the company with the highest market capitalization on the global markets, Apple once again managed to become the most valuable company on Tuesday. Analysts stated that Apple is benefiting from its AI strategy, even though it has not yet been implemented. The market therefore expects iPhone sales to increase significantly as a result.
Positive sentiment among banks
Apple shares ended trading yesterday at a price of 234.82 US dollars. This corresponds to a market cap of 3.6 trillion dollars on the New York technology exchange NASDAQ. Microsoft followed in second place on Tuesday with 3.34 trillion dollars and Nvidia with 3.1 trillion, followed – comparatively behind – by Alphabet/Google with 2.28 trillion and Amazon with 2 trillion dollars. While Apple's share price rose by 0.18 percent, Microsoft, Nvidia and Alphabet/Google fell over the course of the day – by 0.98, 1.62 and 1.43 percent respectively.
Apple fared even better on Monday. The bank Morgan Stanley had selected Apple shares as a "top pick" – precisely for the reasons mentioned, the AI strategy and the resulting device sales. The market capitalization even jumped to 3.62 trillion dollars in the course of trading on Monday. Overall, Apple has already managed to increase its market capitalization by 20 percent since January. The company had waited a long time to announce its ideas in the field of generative artificial intelligence, but did so at its WWDC 2025 developer meeting at the beginning of June.
Nobody knows yet how Apple Intelligence will work
The current hype on the stock market is - as stock markets tend to do - crystal clear about the future. Apple Intelligence functions cannot yet even be tested by participants in Apple's iOS 18 beta phase. In addition, only some of the functions will initially be available in the fall, and the language selection is limited to US English. In Europe, Apple intends to hold back for now due to the EU Commission's action against Apple Intelligence.
The services, which include text generation, image generation and a significantly improved voice assistant Siri, will only run on certain devices. For the Mac and iPad, these are all models with M1 SoC and upwards, but for the iPhone only the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max and most likely all iPhone 16 models, which are expected in the fall.
